Hüseyin Avni Aker Stadium which was first laid in 1951, is the home of Trabzonspor where all home fixtures are played.
- The stadium takes its name from Mr. Hüseyin Avni Aker who is a teacher that worked as the District Director for General Directorate for Youth and Sports in Trabzon between 1940-1944. Aker put a lot of efforts in order to open way for construction of a stadium in the city.
- Initially planned for 2400 spectators, the stadium has been renovated twice. An additional covered stand was built in 1967 before the uncovered stand was enlarged in 1981.
- In 1994, the main stand was fully covered with space cage model and floodlights were installed
- Extensions were made to the stands for the last time in 2005 and the stadium, which is all-seater according to UEFA regulations, has a modern look ever since.
- Extensions include the construction of an "exclusive" Marathon stand inside the Marathon stand which has a special entrance and cafe.
